I have been a Realtor for 23 years and have received my Associate Broker's license in Arizona and Washington, as well as many awards for being a top producer. In 2003, my first year with John L. Scott, I received the President's Award, and in 2004 I received the President's Gold Award for outstanding service. I was John L. Scott's Top Producer and Top Sales Associate in the Bainbridge Island office for 2004. In 2005, I received the prestigious President's Elite Award and was runner-up top producer, while my wife Jana was our Top Producer in 2005. I also received President's Elite status in 2006 with my best year ever and again was our Top Producer. I received President's Elite status again in 2007, and I received the Presidant's Gold Award and was again the Top Producer at John L. Scott Bainbridge in 2008.
I was a general contractor specializing in custom home construction for many years, and this background gives me extensive knowledge in all aspects of building homes from the ground up. I also have years of experience in selling land, something I have a passion for since there are so many beautiful land parcels here in the Pacific Northwest.
My wife Jana and I ( Jana is also a Realtor in our office and is one of the Top Producers every year) moved to Bainbridge Island in 1989, and our three children have been blessed with the opportunity to attend the excellent schools here on Bainbridge. We love the area here and enjoy getting over to the Olympic Peninsula when we can for hiking, boating, and outdoor activity. I am an avid sports fan who likes to take advantage of our close proximity to Seattle to watch the Mariners, Sonics, Seahawks, and Huskies. We have season tickets to the Seahawks really enjoy going to those exciting football games.
I also like to give back to my community, something which is very dear to me. I have been a volunteer at Helpline House, the local food bank, for the past 11 years. I have been part of a team that raised $25,000 for Habitat for Humanity for three years. I coached and sponsored my son's little league teams for 7 years, an experience that I treasure. The most valuable thing a person can give is his time.
