Description of this Beautiful Area and Your Agent

Are you looking for the Sunshine Capital of the Pacific Northwest? How about  Northwest life at it's best? It's right here in Sequim! The rain shadow guarantees low precipitation, the temperature is mild, and the people are friendly. Our playground is located against the scenic back drop of the Olympic mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca making our valley a living diorama of incredible beauty.  Sequim is Washington's retirement mecca.  So come on - stop dreaming and move to the apple of Washington's eye!

This year Karen celebrates her  23rd anniversary in real estate sales (2009). She began her career in a suburb of Boston, MA called Jamaica Plain and from there moved to that sweet little town of Sitka on Baranoff Island in southeast Alaska. This is her 18th year in Sequim sales.  She is enthusiastic, thorough and ethical. Her desire is to put you into the right spot, at the right price for long term satisfaction living in Sequim.  Both she and Tom call many of their real estate clients friends.

Karen has served in multiple positions on the Sequim Association's  Board of Directors, most notably as President.  She earned the John L. Scott President's Award for Outstanding Achievement in 1999, 2001, and 2003.She was awarded the President's Gold Award in 2004. She earned the Emerald Award in 2002, 2005 and 2006. She is a supporter of Friends of the Fields Foundation, a nonprofit organization devoted to saving farmland in the Sequim Dungeness Valley. She is an Agricultural Land Commissioner for Clallam County.

Karen is a graduate of Indiana University School of Music. She holds both an undergraduate degree in Voice Performance and a Master's Degree in Performance.  Karen is very proud of affiliation with IU so if you are a graduate of  Indiana University give her a call.  GO IU!!

Tom currently serves the community as a member of the Governmental Affairs Land Use Committee, monitoring regulation and proposed changes to ordinances affecting the use of your property.  He is a graduate of Whitworth College and  received a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in English with minors in Elementary Education and Art. Tom graduated Suma Cum Laude in 1977. His knowledge of cabinetry building was gleaned from designing and building custom furniture. He owned and operated Williamson and Son Custom Cabinetry.  As a young man just out of college Tom worked  in construction as a framer.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to their business.

In reflecting on her real estate partner Karen says, "My husband, Tom Williamson is truly my partner in life,  excelling in areas that complement me and vice versa."  Our combination will give you complete service.   We stand on our experience and reputation.  It's one you can trust.

Here are some quotes from satisfied clients:

"From your first response to our e-mail until the sale closed you did a very professional job. You were honest and straightforward when there was bad news. You encouraged us to believe that there was a buyer out there somewhere and you kept trying different ways to market the property until you found that buyer. Clarice MacDonald and Jean MacDonald

"We were very pleased with how painless the process was and of course the final result." Steve & Wansook Kim

"My clients described you as a professional.  I couldn't agree more! " Ann, Windermere Sequim East

"You and Tom are the best, the perfect combination."  Pat Ramsey

"It felt like our needs were their highest priority."  Robin Munroe
