Oregon

Oregon possesses a diverse panorama of natural sights. Bordered on the north and east sides by large rivers and to the west by the Pacific ocean, with the commanding mountains of the Cascade Range reaching skywards and towering evergreen forests strewn throughout, the state inspires visitors and residents alike with its beauty and variety.

The landscape of the state shifts dramatically from rainforest on the Pacific side to desert in the southeast. Even enjoy skiing or snowboarding year round on Oregon's famous 11,239 foot Mt. Hood.

Oregon's many neighborhoods reflect the diversity of the state. Portland, the "City of Roses" has been known for its rose gardens for over a century and is also popular for its 28 beer microbreweries. Visit Bend at nearly the center of the state to experience a totally different climate and ambience.

Oregon, and especially Portland, is known as one of the most "green" or environmentally friendly regions in the United States and the world.
