Gresham

Established in 1905, Gresham is Oregon’s fourth largest city. With a population of 100,000, Gresham is a city that has all the big city amenities yet has retained its small town flavor.

Gresham is a city that will keep you busy. In less than an hour you can be on Mt. Hood—skis on, ready to go. The 40-mile Springwater corridor links Gresham with Portland and the surrounding communities for year-round walking and biking. The natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge is a sight people travel from around the world to see, and it is just 15 minutes from Gresham.

Many employers are based in the Gresham community, including Boeing, Honda, and Frito Lay. The Portland international Airport is only minutes away, an easy trip using the Light Rail System.

Gresham has been designated as a Green Power Community by the EPA, only the 14th community to do so in the nation.

Being surrounded by rural communities, it is easy to find fresh produce and locally grown food. The Gresham Farmers market is a food lover’s delight.

If shopping is your forte, you will find the full gamut from Gresham Station, with 50 stores, to the nearby Columbia Gorge Outlet Stores.

You can find a wide variety of real estate in Gresham, from 1920 bungalows to million-dollar homes right on the golf course, and everything in between. Prices are on average more affordable than in the Portland Metro area.
