Residents or visitors to Philomath can take advantage of many of the town’s local events. The Philomath Frolic & Rodeo is held the second weekend in July. The event includes a kick-off barbeque, craft fairs, carnival, parade, and plenty of other local activities.

The Quilt County event has been held every other year since 1991 and you can participate in many events during the month of September. The Quilt County event is for quilters and quilt lovers, and incorporates the history and future of quilting.

Philomath is also a community that gives back. Local churches sponsor an annual Day of Blessing each August, providing free clothing, household items, school supplies, and much more to those in need.
