Home to Green River Community College, the Northeast hill of Auburn encompasses the communities of Lea Hill and Wynaco. Recently annexed in 2008 to the City of Auburn , this neighborhood is an intriguing mix of rural and suburban neighborhoods. Auburn Mountainview High School, which opened it’s doors in 2007, anchors the community’s public education, which is fed by two middle schools and four elementary schools. Numerous parks, the Green River, Washington National golf course, and assorted recreational opportunities contribute to the neighborhood’s popularity.
