Bainbridge Island

Step into Island time! Just a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle, beautiful Bainbridge Island offers a small town alternative to urban living.

Although the island is just 10 miles long and 5 miles wide, the City of Bainbridge Island boasts a population of well over 20,000 residents. The community embraces education, environmental values, the arts and humanities, and balanced lifestyles.

Sophisticated, yet relaxed, Bainbridge Island is an eclectic blend of interests. A haven for artists, the community is home to over 200 published authors and numerous galleries. Recreational opportunities abound! Whether you crave boating, hiking, cycling, or golf, you can have it all on Bainbridge Island.

Nestled between Seattle to the east and the majestic Olympics to the west, the Island provides cityscapes, water views, pastoral scenes, and snow capped mountains at every turn. Enjoy Seattle’s offerings while perched at the gateway to the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Bainbridge Island is steeped in history while businesses and residents are smoothly incorporated into the 21st century. Island living on Bainbridge is both contemporary and ageless.
