Manzanita

One doesn’t see many houses in the Manzanita neighborhood, as they are hidden down long, private driveways leading to their waterfront perches.

While several areas of Bainbridge Island could claim to be the “Gold Coast” of the island, Manzanita could be called the “Platinum Coast” for its incredible mansions and magnificent estates with gardens, waterfront docks, and views of the Olympic Mountains. One mansion, the Lindbergh Estate, was once owned by the son of Charles Lindbergh and later by a Westinghouse heir.

The serene ambiance of Manzanita Bay can be enjoyed by walking the beach on either a rainy day or a beautiful evening.
