Clyde Hill

The Clyde Hill neighborhood is unique because of its prime location--virtually in the heart of downtown Bellevue--with the quiet feel of yesteryear. It’s a large area that provides an assortment of homes of all shapes and sizes, ranging from 1,000 square foot vintage ramblers to vast, gated estates.

Although Clyde Hill is a technically a city in itself, the Clyde Hill neighborhood is known by most West Bellevue residents as being west of I-405 and northwest to Bellevue Square Mall. The neighborhood features four schools: Clyde Hill Elementary School, Chinook Middle School, Bellevue Christian School, and Sacred Heart School.

Clyde Hill is home to several parks. The Clyde Hill City Park is located just east of 95th Place NE and features the Northwest Community Center Park, a collection of classrooms where locals can learn how to make pottery, design art pieces, and take exercise classes. Other neighborhood parks include Chism Beach Park, the Downtown Bellevue Park and Rose Garden, and the Bellevue Botanical Garden.

The neighborhood features walking hills and panoramic views of Lake Washington, Mt. Rainer, and the Bellevue and Seattle skylines. It is also an easy to Downtown Bellevue's spectacular shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and a King County Regional Library.

The small towns of Medina, Hunt’s Point, and Yarrow Point all lie between Clyde Hill and Lake Washington, although access to the waterfront is readily available via the local parks.
