Delmar Woods


Delmar Woods is a wonderful, established neighborhood in South Bellevue and at the southern-most border for the Bellevue School District, which includes the award-winning Newport High School. 

The Delmar Woods neighborhood consists of five divisions. The first phases of development were built in 1967 and 1968. The next group were built between 1972-76. Another half-dozen new homes were added to the neighborhood in the mid 80s. You can see the pride throughout Delmar Woods as you drive around the different divisions.

The well-maintained Coal Creek Parkway Pipeline Trail runs along the west boarder of the neighborhood. On a daily basis, you will see the trail being used by walkers strolling their children or walking their dogs, joggers, and bikers. The trail heads south right into neighboring Lake Boren Park.

Lake Boren Park is a wonderful Newcastle Park where the Coal Creek Parkway Trail ends. Large play fields, tennis courts, kids’ play area, stage area. Family friendly events take place there throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

There are two nearby shopping centers, open malls just off of Coal Creek Parkway. Nearby businesses include QFC, Southwest Mexican Grill Topatio, Pet Daycare and Day Spa, Massage Envy, Hair Masters, Newcastle Nails, Dry Cleaners, and Bank of America, Safeway, Bartells, Bakers Dry Cleaner, Baskin Robbins, Pet-Pros, Liquor Store, Jewelry Store, Yea Wok Chinese Restaurant, Subway, Great Clips, Starbucks, dental and orthodontist offices, Apple Physical Therapy, and Key Bank.
