Eastgate is a Census Designated Place (CDP) nestled between Bellevue and Issaquah. Primarily residential, the Eastgate neighborhood was established in the mid to early 1950’s. The vast majority of the homes are original to the neighborhood.

Within the boundaries of the award winning Bellevue and Issaquah school districts, Eastgate is an ideal location for first time buyers to the Bellevue real estate scene. Because of Eastgate’s status as a CDP residents enjoy county tax rates and services while still benefitting from the proximity to the cities of Bellevue and Issaquah.

Eastgate neighbors are a quiet bunch. On the weekends you’ll find them walking their dogs and children, riding their bikes, working in their massive yards, or fixing up their mid century homes.  

Summertime sees a rise in homes for sale in Eastgate, as well as neighborhood garage sales. In the wintertime Eastgate enjoys moderate weather as it is often sheltered by the remainder of the South Bellevue hillside from the occasional snow flurry.

Although Eastgate’s aging population has been mostly replaced by a younger generation of home owners, its residents tend to stay in their homes for long periods of time fostering a sense of community among neighbors
