The neighborhood is surrounded by other communities like Yarrow Point, Evergreen Point, and Medina. This desirable location is perfect for making short commutes to downtown Seattle or Bellevue and living within the privacy of a small, municipal forest.

Hunts Point was incorporated in 1955 as a quaint community with a great location that now has large country estates and some modernly decorated homes. The residents enjoy walking through shaded street sidewalks to local parks or into downtown Bellevue or Kirkland.

For those who enjoy recreational activities, the easy Lake Washington access is most enjoyable. Other recreation can take place at the club house or the town tennis courts. Hunts Point was officially named as Tree City USA in 1991 by the National Arbor Foundation.
