Trickle Creek is less than five minutes from I-5 access and about a 10-minute drive from downtown Bellingham. The neighborhood is walking distance to Squalicum High School and Northern Heights Elementary, as well as a short distance from the Barkley Village shopping center and the Interurban Trail. Many of the homes back up to a green belt, and there are two community playgrounds.

Plans have been approved for the Trickle Creek Plaza at the entrance of the Trickle Creek development.
