The majority homes were originally built in the late 1970s and 1980s, however many have been updated. Some of the charming homes are built on the shores of Lake Sammamish. All homes in these areas have beach rights and park access to lovely community beaches and parks, most with tennis courts and play areas. Also Meerwood Park services the entire community to keep it a clean and safe area.

Resident's children attend the Issaquah School District. The easy 1-90 freeway access for commuters makes this area very desirable. Mothers' play groups and other associations provide a family friendly area. At all three beaches there are endless recreational activities for the residents to enjoy.
