Cherokee Bay is a private lakefront community of over 800 homes located in the city of Maple Valley. Residents of the Cherokee Bay neighborhood take advantage of many wonderful amenities including Pipe Lake, the community clubhouse and a lakefront park which includes basketball and tennis courts. There is a selection of home styles to choose from in Cherokee Bay such as ramblers, two-story homes, split levels and tri-levels. Most of the homes were built during the 1970’s and 1980’s. There are a few newer homes throughout the neighborhood too. Cherokee Bay is served by the award winning Tahoma School District. Children living in the neighborhood most likely will attend Lake Wilderness Elementary, Cedar River Middle School, Tahoma Jr. High and Tahoma Senior High School.
