Leschi

Leschi's reputation as a desirable neighborhood has much to do with its cool, waterfront breezes and views of the Cascade Mountains. The community was named after Chief Leschi of the Nisqually tribe and is complete with historical beach cottages that are a must see for vacationers or visiting spot for locals.

Leschi is home to a diverse mix of people who cherish their quiet neighborhood inside the large city of Seattle. Though Leschi boasts small boutique shopping, the easy commute to downtown Seattle provides a wider variety of stores. Leschi residents enjoy the fine dining, deli, and a variety of shops that are located within the community. Some of the most popular businesses include the Leschi Mart, Blu Water Leschi, and the famous Daniel’s Broiler steakhouse.

Leschi offers a comfortable living space off the marina with a wide variety of homes. The streets pass through luxury style homes on the waterfront as well as condominiums with breathtaking views. Home buyers will also find mid-size ramblers more inland that still offer partial views of the water and Cascades.

Recreation for family and guests can be found at any of the various parks inside the neighborhood. Two popular parks include Leschi Lakeside Park and Frink Park; both provide large areas for walking or riding bikes. Other recreational activities can be found at the tennis courts, which are kept in good condition. The community's pea patch is something should not be missed.
