Downtown Vancouver

Concerts, markets, festivals, historic tours, bike rides and art walks – there’s always something to do in downtown Vancouver!

Esther Short Park in the heart of downtown Vancouver is the centerpiece of a new, mix-use district, with the goal of triggering a larger downtown renaissance. Esther Short Park is the oldest public park in the West, dating back to 1853. Nearby you’ll find The Old Apple Tree, which was planted in 1826 on Fort Vancouver and is thought to be the oldest apple tree in the Northwest.
